Change is on the horizon...

So far January seems to have flown by! I can't believe I only have 3 full days left at home!!! Crazy, eh? On Sunday morning I will be leaving good old B-Town to spend a YEAR in South Africa. Yay! :) I can't wait! I'm so excited right now! Yet at the same time I'm a bit scared....well not really scared, more like nervous. I know that this year is going to be a year of tremendous change in my life, and I think what I'm really scared of is letting go...letting go of all the things that hold me back. I am learning now more than ever that I need to live by faith. I know that God's plans are bigger than mine and I need to trust him 100 percent, but sometimes that's not the easiest thing for me to do. This year I WILL let go, and I WILL live by faith. Please pray for me this year as God molds me into the young woman He wants me to be. Pray that I would not resist the change that is on the horizon and that I would meet every challenge with an open heart and a strength that comes only from the Lord.

I will do my best to keep y'all updated on what the Lord is doing in my life and in the lives of the South African people throughout the course of the year. I know that the Lord is going to do AMAZING, WONDERFUL, and MAGNIFICENT things this year and I look forward to sharing those things with you. God bless.
